Note: you will need a LinkedIn account first to setup this learning access. 

  1. For LinkedIn, sign into your Lindenwood Outlook Web based email
  2. Go to the All Apps and at the very bottom, you will see LinkedIn
  3. Setup up your account for LinkedIn with your email account information or create an account for Lindenwood with your LU email and a unique password.

Video Conferencing on Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams offers many impressive and valuable video conferencing features.Users can host 1080p calls with up to 50 members, which includes the ability to share screens and record calls. Users can also meet or collaborate on-the-go using Microsoft Teams apps for smartphones and tablets.


You can download Teams for your computer with web camera from Microsoft365

You can download Teams for Mobile Apps for both iPhone and Android from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Log in to TEAMS app from Mircosoft Office. 

You will need a web cam, preferably one with built in microphone to attend video conference.

If you do not have a web cam request one from the IT Helpdesk.

TEAMS Video Calls from Computer.

  1. Go to your chat list, and click New chat  to start a new conversation.
  2. Type the name or names into the To field at the top of your new chat.
  3. Then click Video call Video call button or Audio call Calls button to start a call.

Up to 50 people can be on the same video call.

TEAMS Video call from Phone


  1. From your chat list, tap New chat New chat button in the header and enter a name or names.
  2. From a chat, tap Video call Video call button or Audio call Calls button . The person you're calling can answer from their desktop or mobile app.

You can also start a call from someone's profile card. Open it by tapping their profile picture in a channel or from a search.
