Turning Off Pop Up Blocker - What to do if receiving "registration has been cancelled" on student portal
If you see a “Registration has been canceled” message after clicking the “Registration” link on the Student Portal, this indicates you need to turn off your browser’s pop-up blocker. Pop-ups must be allowed for registration on the Student Portal. Here are some instructions for turning your browser’s pop-up blocker off:
In Microsoft Edge:
- Go to Settings
- Select Cookie and Site permissions (on the left).
- Select All Sites
- Select the site you would like to allow pop-ups
- Look for Pop-ups and redirects
- Change the Block drop down option to "allow".
In Internet Explorer:
1. Go to the “Tools” menu > “Pop-up Blocker”
2. Select “Turn Off Pop-up Blocker”
In Firefox:
1. Go to “Tools” > “Options” > “Content” tab
2. Uncheck “Block pop-up windows”
In Chrome:
1.Select “Settings”
3. Click Site Settings under the Privacy and Security section
4. In the “Content” section, click the “Pop-ups and redirects” option
5. Look for blocked (recommended), click the slider to the right to turn it blue and it will say "Allowed"
