There are a few basic steps to troubleshooting the Biamp Conference Call Doc in meeting rooms.
Here is an overview:
- Is the device receiving power?
- Verify the Mute button on the Biamp is not selected, for volume related issues.
- Verify the Wall Control Panel is powered on and the volume is set to a desired level. To test the volume, press the Biamp green volume button then press the wall panel volume up until you hear the dial tone on the phone over the speaker.
- If the basic steps do not work, reset the device by unplugging the phone cord on the desk and firmly re-plug in the phone cord, until you hear a click. The Biamp will reconfigure, Retry steps
- If the above steps do not work, as a last step only, press the reset/power button located in the ceiling panel near the outlet. This is the circuit reset button for the device and will completely reboot the Biamp. Again, follow steps to verify if the device volume works. If not contact the IT Help Desk 636-255-5100 and submit a service request to helpdesk@lindenwood.edu with details.
