AV Equipment

Common Audio Issues

  • If audio is coming from PC, but not speakers on wall, the speaker cable (this cable has a green head and looks like you would plug in to a headphone jack) may have come unplugged from back/front of PC.
  • If there is no audio at all:
    • Check to make sure volume is not muted on PC.
    • Check to make sure amplifier/Schillers tower is powered on.
    • If audio too low, check to make sure volume control is turned up on both the PC and the control pad.

Common Projector Issues

  • Determine if the system instructor is using is a Desktop Creston (touch screen display), or SP Controls (black panel with rubber buttons).
    • Make sure the control pad is illuminating and that inputs are switching accordingly.
  • If projector sounds like it is firing up but does not show an image, the bulb may be burned out (contact tier 2 support).
  • If projector casts a blue/black screen, try having user switch to another input, then switch back to the desired input they are trying to utilize.
  • If there is no signs of projector communicating with control pad, contact tier 2 level.
  • If there is no image on PC monitor but there is one on the projector, try having the user hold down the windows key and pressing "p" until the "duplicate" is highlighted.
