The password for the Off-Campus Wifi can be obtained by contacting your Resident Area Coordinator. 

Off-campus housing equipment 

The image below shows the equipment in our off campus housing.

  • I3 Modem (Previously Charter)
  • MX65
  • MR33 wireless access point

Troubleshooting

The number one rule for troubleshooting issues with Internet access at Off-Campus Housing is to reboot all the devices. All the equipment is often plugged into a power strip, so turning this off and on will be sufficient for a reboot.  Not all housing is set up this way. If there is no power strip, then the I3 Modem and the Cisco MX65 and MR33 must be power cycled. You should see two cables plugged into the back of the silver Cisco MX 65. These cables should have lights below each cable. 

If no devices are getting power, it is also possible the GFCI outlet has tripped. You may need to push the reset button in the middle of the outlet to turn it back on.
