Single Sign-on Procedures for Lindenwood

Before we review how to login here is a brief summary: 

1. Logon Access listed above and Wi-Fi is directed to a Single Sign-On through  Microsoft 365 (Formerly Office 365).
2. You need only Log-on once with your full email address and password.
3. The SINGLE SIGN-ON will simplify your access ability for Lindenwood AND enhance cyber security.

Note:  Student & Faculty Portal are not included with SSO, continue to login with Username only and password. 

Step 1: 

Go to the Lindenwood Website "Lindenwood.edu"

Then, select the LU Portal to access the portal you need:

Note: You must be enrolled in a current term before you will have access to Canvas or  Microsoft 365 (Formerly Office 365!

• For Student Portal and Faculty/Staff Portal: Enter User Name (only) and Password.
• For Canvas, Microsoft 365 (Formerly Office 365)  Email, Star Rez, Workday & Handshake: Enter full email address and password in the Single Sign On Screen you will be sent to when you select access to these areas from the Lindenwood website.

Step 2: 

Enter your full email address and password under the Microsoft 365 (Formerly Office 365) Single Sign-On (SSO) log-on page. 

After entering your password you will then be asked to authenticate your account. 

Now you are signed into your accounts with a single sign-on.

Step 3: 

EXCEPTIONS: FACULTY OR STUDENT PORTAL LOGIN are NOT part of the Single Sign On Process. 

For example:  To log in Select Portal follow the directions described below.

Note: To Access Faculty or Student Portal.

• You must allow (enable) pop ups for this site to ensure proper functionality of the portal.
• Enter your user name (only) and password and 'click'  on Log-in.

CANVAS: 

NOTE: To see the classes you are taking on Canvas:

• Log into Canvas by following Steps 1 and 2.
• Select Courses, if your classes do not display under dashboard or courses, select all courses and highlight the future classes.  This will allow you to view the classes you are wanting to have displayed on your account.

Now you will see all current classes in dashboard.
